Alex Stoltze

I believe in finding beauty. I blog here, and at Thepassiontheory.blogspot.com, about art and photography, influential ideas about social networks, advertising, branding and producing. I write about what inspires me; about great food, traveling, adventures, iPhones, film cameras, Nike, Postsecret, tomatoes, Nordstroms and Goodwill.

I'm currently a journalism student studying advertising, photography, and Spanish at the University of Oregon. I'm a multimedia blogger for The Next Great Generation, a photographer for Ethos magazine, and an avid tweeter so follow @astoltze me for news about media trends, new blogs, weird news, latest fashion finds, and funny ad campaigns.

My main creative outlet is photography and my first love is black and white film. Growing up in Portland, Oregon, it was easy to fall in love with creative and thought provoking ad campaigns that were dreamt up right outside my door by Wieden and Kennedy, MUTT, and North. Someday I hope to live within the walls of W+K and encourage my friends to 'fail harder.'
